Is this a good fuel setup for e85?
Car is a 99 with 408 at 11.3:1 and V3 Si
Looking to possibly go e85 and was wondering if this was a good route to go for the money.

Currently I have a racetronix 255 pump, racetronix hotwire harness, KB Boost-A-Pump and FIC1000 injectors. So can I just remove the Boost-A-Pump and install this fuel kit and be able to support around 900 hp on e85?
Thanks,
Derek

that pump is not rated for e85. we do one w/ a bosh 044 which is. we can also do one w/ a fuelab external that will do it.

Directly off aem's site for this pump.
For gasoline vehicles (pump life will be diminished when used with alcohol fuels)

Yes, they're fine for E85. We've been running them in our setups for years now. We used to run the Bosch pump (and we still can if you desire), but the AEM pump is hands down a better pump.

seen 2 of those pumps fail on e85 locally. They both were confirmed purchased through summit so I know they are real.

In addition to all our customers running them, I've been running one on my rat rod as the primary fuel pump for the last 2yrs and not a single issue.
And again, we still have the option of the Bosch 044 pump if one were so inclined. Our systems were originally designed around the Walbro and Bosch. Infact the AEM is the exact same dimensions as the 044, with only 2 fittings changed.
