beastly car. looks like you're launching in 2nd and going WOT in 3rd? tough to hear with the wind but looks like then winding out 4th gear all the way to the end.

thanks. On 17" ET street R i can hook up 100% of 900whp/860tq and also found i was a few mph faster. Really wish there was some way to hook up 90-100% WOT In 2nd on the street but seems like without going to 15" tire probably not possible

sorry, i should have added "can hook up 100% of THIRD GEAR" meaning i can't hook up 2nd at all on the street which I would like to build the car to do if it is possible at all on a 17" tire.

15" conversion not really in the cards

tire size on my MT ET street R tires are 305/45/17

Forum member is selling CCW 16's with 295-50 MT drag radials. Also has 17" skinnys up front.

He wants like 1800-1900 hundred for them I think.

Classics(all black).

Weld 15" wheels new are about $350 a piece which is affordable imho.
The biggest obstacle is dishing out $1700 for a pair of spindles.

just think you can buy cheap sticky tires once you are set up with 15s
remember it could be worse you could be buying spindles with canadian pesos LOL i still dont wanna add up what i cost me for the new wheels and tire setup

edit... i just noticed your in canada too lol . so you get to pay an extra 30points too lol

they are VERY proud of them. Have increased prices each year too....
I refuse to spend that kind of money on aluminum.

275 pros. I would consider the Rs but they don't offer the same size.

thanks, with iron block LSX and all the options my car is a heavy pig though and with turbo you should be faster. 900whp street car with heated seats, AC and nav is not bad though honestly anything at 500whp+ though is starting to get really gnarly for a street car!

Vetteski:

really interested to hear your feedback on the 15" tire conversion. if those can dead hook 2nd on the street I may have to pony up for the conversion once my 17" tires wear out.
