Good 1st time out. That turbo has plenty left in it to get you well into the single digit range. I've got a Billet S480 in my garage built front mount kit. The billet turbo with the V3 wheel is a big difference from the cast wheel.

Any videos ?

Yeah the billet 80 would do some work
Its actually my second time out with the car. I went out last tuesday night but the track wasn't there. With my full street setup (28 inch drag radials and 18 inch wheels ) i ran back to back 10.86 @140mph with 2.0 60ft. I.figured with changing up to 26 inch slicks i would gain some speed and some et .That didnt happen
Next time out ill have 28 inch slicks. The car makes enough trq to turn them

Aiming for 15-16psi next outing

Sounds good. I'm on a 28 inch drag radial and 14 lbs of boost. I made just short of 700 RWHP on a stingy dyno. I haven't made it to the track yet. I've been hurting feeling on the streets for the last few weeks. Lol

Good results for you congrats. I'd work on the crank case ventilation pretty quick or you could hurt something. You can't have that kind of crank case pressure and not do anything about it. You'll be looking for a motor soon if you don't. GL! But nice results anyways.

Thanks. Next time out at the track will have a couple new updates. Full "4 inch exhaust
We are currently running 4 inch down pipe split into dual 2.5 exhaust .We think this is out major back pressure problem .

What size turbine wheel are you running ?
I'm running a 4 inch exhaust to a "Y" which goes into dual 3 inch to the bumper . Unfortunately I haven't logged backpressure numbers. I'm also running a .96mm turbine housing.

Good job, Andre!

That turbo is just getting warmed up...need to turn up the boost
Did you resolve the breaking up at high rpms?

Thanks . Havent had an issue on the street with breaking up but we only run 13psi and 11 degrees of timing at 10.3 AFR .Next time out goal is 15-16psi with 14-15 degrees of timing. Will need full 4 inch exhaust for sure to acheive this.Fingers crossed that we dont get any missfire. the 2.5 inch exhaust is really restricting boost. On the dyno we couldnt make any more theb 15psi. I was getting tired of tooling on the car so we left it as is and i enjoyed the car on the street .Summer almost over here soon so i think its time to let this thing eat!

^^^^^^^
That's fine. Looks like you have the 96mm turbine inducer wheel. I had an 87mm inducer on my original S480 and it was causing excessive backpressure due to my displacement. I had to do a custom built turbo to get a 96mm turbine wheel on my T4 unit .

Seat time and getting out of the hole better and you'll gain significantly, keep up the progress

I was thinking 750whp-800whp . car is 3500lb with me in it
also the temps where far from ideal . muggy and hot .

Back when we had the car on the dyno the temps where alot cooler and ideal to make power . We saw 800whp at this boost

goals next time are to have 15-16psi with more timing (875whp-900whp)
next month will have some free hp just with the cool air

My tuner keeps bugging me to power shift lol he claims 0.5 of a sec just doing that LOL . Will see next time out . I will say its alot harder to drive down the track then my old S/C setup . My 650whp S/C was super easy to drive down the track.

Nice passes for the first trip out... No doubt a turbo, stick car will be tricky to get the hang of at first..

Keep practicing, it will get there.

I would not power shift, you are just asking to break parts. There is not .5 in power shifting unless you just shift flat out terrible.

You'll be in the 9s before long.

Hoping i keeped motivated to go again lol the things we do a for a little time slip lol .

His point to power shift was to keep the car in under boost . With the data log you can see the car falling out of boost .That when he told me power shift to stay in boost . I was not driving to break records . This week end was simply to make it down the track and get some data wich we got

Yeah he has a point on the boost dropping after shifts and having to build back up again, I forgot about that...

Yes chasing a slip is addicting, at least until it starts breaking ****, then it gets expensive fast, the down time sucks...and then I just want to cruise...LOL
