The problem we ran into with the radials is when they do break loose, they didn't recover all that well. It was pretty much a wasted pass. Our race weight last year was around 3300#'s so I don't think we were enough lighter than you to make wholesale differences there on how to launch the car. I have faith in your driving skills so you'll most likely be about to do more with the radials than we did. Our best 60' on the radials was only a 1.34 and I see people going a lot quicker than that on them. We ran the 305/45-17 Mickey Thompson ET Street R Radial. I'm sure a good 15" radial would afford more traction than the 17" version did. I'm going to be really disappointed if we don't run a 1.25 or quicker 60' with the slicks you sold me. Gotta get on the throttle hard from the line and be able to stay in it to achieve that. That's what we could not do with the radials. I officially pass the drag radial torch to you, Sir. Again, good luck but I'm sure you won't need luck. I have faith in your setup and driving skills. Stay in touch. It's always good to hear about you and your car.

the 275 pros will hook. have a few guys over here running them on on prep races and they are doing just fine. i usually cut high 1.2s on a decent track prep.

algz06, I agree, I've seen that tire do amazing things lol - I hope they work good for me.

95vettski, with the 2.75" pulley it was 1010rwhp and that was the beginning of the year with 238 IAT's - since then we went A2W and it acts a whole lot better, maybe that equals more hp, not sure.

What a car! Love the intercooler setup. Have you logged IAT2 with it in place? Did you run the stock air to air before?

Yeah I've got a dual sensor IAT gauge that reads before intercooler & after, with full of ice/water I've seen it 60 before the run and highest of 118 and the end of the 1/4 mile but all the ice is gone lol - oh and I've seen as high as 308 before the intercooler!!
Yes I ran the a&a corvette air to air before and it just wasn't working out for me.
The best thing I've ever done to the car is tilt the stock radiator forward, why they never did it from the factory I'll never know....

With the way your car goes out the end now, I'm sure the superior intercooler design helped your horsepower quite a bit. You MPH like a jet.

It's probably a combination of both in your car. My Camaro picked up 24 RWHP by locking the converter and that was worth ~2 MPH trap speed locked vs unlocked. The horsepower curves crossed on the dyno at 102 MPH so that's where I locked it. Whatever it is on your car, congrats. That MPH is just out of this world.
