Default Now we're talking!! Personal Best ;)

Hey guys,

I figured my fellow Vette guys would appreciate this the most since we all know what it takes to get our cars to work good. You mention to a non-vette guy that our cars have IRS and the trans is in the back and they get all glossy eye'd and lost lol

Anyway this past weekend we went on a “Mini drag week” with 22 other cars – 3 days (Friday-Sunday), 3 states (Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois), 3 tracks (Great Lakes, Byron, Tristate) over 550 miles and we drove my C5 pulling a trailer with the race wheels & stuff the whole way and WE MADE IT! – also had some help with a different suspension settings and leaned out the tune and we ended up with the best 60’ & best 1/4 mile ET & MPH ever this weekend

Anyway I just thought it’d be cool to send you all some props that's helped me in the past, here’s some pics 

WOW...that's awesome....both surviving drag week and the killer ET..
MPH is killer.

That's gotta be a 4l60 record.

2.75" Top pulley & Innovators west 10% OD bottom (Honestly I've never measured it but its huge I know that) Josh @ A&A could tell you.

Log showed it shifted at 6800

The MPH makes me laugh, its crazy for sure, the pass right after that was 162.98 but slower ET, I'm still experimenting with the RPM when I manually lock in the triple disk converter. (Things start getting crazy when I hit that magic button)

The video of that pass is on my Facebook page if interested, I'd post it to Youtube and put it on her but it won't let me cuz of permissions blah blah blah.

I'm Eric Fox (Crazy legs) on facebook if interested

Time to change your signature buddy!

What RPM are you going through the traps? I think you can definitely get a .60 or even .50 out of it. Very impressive car.

Yeah I think I can gain in the 1/8th mile with some suspension work this winter, currently this thing is only using single adjustables and stock everything else other than solid aluminum control arm bushings we made

Don't lock up a single disk, it will smoke it for sure. According to FTI they said that's what its for, so far so good. Like you said, when you hit the button its like you just hit the "Go Baby Go" button

I'd have to look at the log but pretty sure its around 6800 with the converter locked up. I think if I can get it to launch better I think I can improve a little bit more but I've noticed track prep is very important with my car, I leave just off of idle and the log shows it spins from 9mph all the way until I grab 2nd gear but must be slight cuz its working pretty well.
