2 Step for roll racing
I'm installing 2 step this week intending to use it in roll race to build boost for the hit in mt TT vette
Any body tried this ? any advice or down sides ?
how much the AFR will be when the 2 step is active ?
Any comments will be appreciated

Burning Brakes
Are you running a manual or automatic?
Turbo?
Which 2 step?
I usually just power brake it under load to spool on the roll
I run a N2NB no lift shift box for off the line spool and no lift shifting

I use the N2MB box as an anti lag. But it's a hack. I set the two step to whatever RPM I'm at in 3rd gear at 60 MPH. Then I just barely press the clutch in enough to disengage the clutch interrupt and floor it. But if you're too low a speed it'll just hit until it gets to 60 and then die as it overshoots. If you're too fast it'll die until you get back down to 60 and then surge. But if you hit it right I can build ~5# of boost.
So you and your opponent have to be going exactly 60 which is hard. But when you want to go you just lift off the clutch pedal and it hits hard.

My thought is to keep it in gear at 60 mph and activate the 2 step by a momentary switch then to press the gas to build boost
I will adjust the 2 step at 3400 rpm so it will be activated at 60 mph in 3rd gear
What do you think

Sounds exactly like what I'm doing. I think you'll run into similar problems with bogging and surging if you're not exactly at 3400 when you hit the button. I asked the N2MB guys for a feature where it dynamically chose whatever the RPM was when the clutch was pushed in but they didn't seem too hot to make that feature available. The code hasn't changed since 2012.
