Default Viking Crusaders installed!

I recently had the Viking coilovers installed and so far I'm loving them. They replaced another brand of coilovers and the difference is very noticeable. These shocks are double adjustable making them so versatile you can go from super soft to dump truck stiff.

Well built and good looking

I can adjust all four corners in no time without lifting the car or removing any wheels. Still experimenting with different settings, but I tell you they improved my traction vs the other coilovers.
For the price, I think there a bargain.

I grabbed a set of rears last month. Great product, excellent customer service and install was a breeze. I'm still in dump truck mode. I went to these due to my large tires crashing the fender . They solved the problem so now I'm working on getting the car to hook on the street.

This video is worse than the Blair witch Project. LOL I had to lift twice before I could get solid traction. I left and the foot break at about 1500 RPM. I tried earlier leaving at 2800 rpm on the two-step but that wasn't happening.

I use the recommended Viking settings and then tweak to what I feel works better with my combo and conditions. The rears right now are 2C and 12R if I remember correctly. The fronts are 14C and 4R, but I need to check my log to confirm.

Would like to hear from others what settings they use for comparison.

The Viking website has an online catalog for viewing, although I didn't find it very helpful. You can order directly through Viking or once you have your part number google it.
I found the best price through a Ford performance shop. PM me if you want as they are not a forum sponsor and I don't want to break any rules.

In the rear I've got 600Lb springs and at 6 compression and 12 rebound I couldn't hook with a 295-50-16 M/T drag radial from a dig. Tried leaving at 2800rpm and 2-3lbs of boost with the ramp rate at 25 out of 50 on the boost controller.

What spring rate did you go with in the rear ?

The rear spring rate is 700lbs. It's the Viking recommended drag setup for over 600hp I believe.

Are you running a full slick or drag radial ?

How about loosening the compression to 2. Is your front sway bar off? I also noticed a full tank of gas helps.

Last night I loosened the compression to 3 and bumped the rebound to 14. No front sway bar. After hours of reading about other guys boost controller settings, I realized 25 is extremely aggressive especially for the street. I lowered the ramp rate to 15. The car currently does have a full tank of gas. When I find good E85 around town, I always keep 15 gallons on the side and make sure the tank is full.

It has been raining here for the last few days so I haven't had an opportunity to test on the street. If it's decent Sunday I might take the car to the track for the first time with this set up .

Glad to read something about these. I've been on the fence for a few months. I've been in conversation with Christina @ Viking about this setup. Let us know how the spring rates work out.
