Default 2 step vs 3 step which do I need?

I am wanting to do a launch control system on my car. I would like to have 2 different settings of rev limiter. For instance i would like to be able to set one limiter to 5000 rmps for doing a burn out and have another setting at 2600 rpms to leave the line is this possible while being both activated off of the brake some how? Or can you change one on the fly very easily or something along that line? The box is going on an automatic car

I would also like to be able to set one for while going down the track at around 6,000 rpms the car is extremely easy to over rev.

Are any of these things possible with a 2 step or 3 step? Thank you for any input as i have no knowledge with these things.

if you have a trans brake it would be possible. you would need a 3 step.

you set the two step for your 5000 rpm limiter that is engaged by the foot brake.
Then your trans brake would engage the 3 step that you have set to 2600.
Then you use the ecu to set the limiter to 6000. which i dont understand why. im spinning a stock motor to 7500

or option B is a switch that would somehow engage the 3 step.

triggered off the footbrake the switch up would be 5000 and switch down would be 2600. or whatever you wanted to do.

I do not have a trans brake. If a 3 step had the ability to set 2 different limiters I believe I could make something work to turn one which one I would be wanting.

Do you have any knowledge as to how to set the rev limiter through the ecu? I am new the the last scene but have been around cars and racing my whole life. Thanks for the helps guys.

Have some one tune it. You should be shifting at almost 7000

I'd like to stay kinda conservative on the shifting. As the motor does have a little bit higher miles. Is the limiter set through tuning going to take away spark or fuel if anyone is fimilar?
