Default new build at TTi

Sold the TTiX to do something more extreme. The guys at TTi are building a custom setup with Precision 7675s. It's been a tough year with George fighting 2 rounds of cancer, but he's pulling thru and back doing amazing work. It won't be long before this thing comes to life and making loud noises!

I bet this kit will make a little more power.

Thanks, I really like how it's turning out. It's a race setup that can drive on the street, full exhaust, but no power accessories or AC to simplify things. Next up is an A2W intercooler.

Drivetrain plans? It's going to rip that's for sure.

Gonna run the 347/4L60 combo until I can afford a LSX/glide or something like that.

Probably a bit hard to light off, but I think he had nitrous at one point I have a friend with a drag car running twin turbonnetics 7268's on a 5.3 and he is just at the limits of building enough boost on the 2 step. I'm unsure if he is using something like antilag, but would assume so.

He did spec the parts to help spool. AR is .81, and header primaries are 1 3/4. If it's too soft off the line, I still have the plate kit.

Glad to hear that George is back, he does great work. Also glad to see your build thread and get an up close look at how everything fits.

What size are the downpipes?

What parts are absolutely necessary to delete with this turbo placement? Obviously the ABS module needs to be deleted or relocated. Could you have kept the brake booster? Could power steering or a/c remain?

The downpipes are 3" and tied into the midpipe. It could have cutouts or turndowns for a max effort later. It's also easy to install/remove, just a couple V bands. We thought about going thru the hood or fenders, but he found a way to make it work.

It required a custom alternator bracket, mounted in the AC location. It might be possible to run power brakes and power steering, we'll see how it turns out. Originally intended to make as much room as possible for the turbos, priorities you know.

Custom Precision PT2000 A2W intercooler is going in now. Looks like a tight fit!

I haven't updated in a while, here's some progress pics.

The Ford Ranger alternator was pretty big and they needed more space for exhaust. So they fabbed a new bracket and installed a Honda alternator.

New radiator and cooling fans installed flat, with some hard lines for routing.

Adapted 3" DP with V bands to a stock H pipe for street duty.

Relocated the ABS module to a more convenient space.

Merge pipe for the intercooler.

That's about it for now. The oil lines were just done, and the last item is to get a water/ice box and install in the trunk. We're thinking about a 7 gal tank with 1" lines and rule 2000 internal pump.
