Default Supercharged build thread

I bought a bone stock Z06 this time last year and did your basic bolt ons and a blower cam from vengeance racing. made 420/410 wheel. added a wide body, c6z brakes, and then decided to do a blower.

i bought a kit from Andy,
v3-ti.
custom sheet metal intake manifold from a local shop down here. (still getting powder coated)
800 cc injectors
center force dyad clutch
UPP fuel system with AEM 380
alky meth kit
it will be on e85

After installing the blower
i really didn't like how tight of a fit it was to get the filter pipe on the the blower.
so i ordered a bell dual core with shorter dimensions and a custom shroud to scoop air, and dropped it off at the fabrication shop. also spacing the condenser a little farther out.

once all this is done ill keep it the way it is while i build a LSX block and father down the road swap everything over!

my back ground of vehicles came mainly as imports, big nitrous hondas, then Evo's then transitioned and build a trailblazer SS and now z06

Sheet metal intake is done and powder coated. Had a custom radiator built to remove the radiator cradle spacers included in the A&A kit. Now getting ready to install the fuel system/intake/clutch

post up some pics of the new radiator when you get it, I'm in the same boat as you.

Looks like your intake pipes hitting the hood pretty good also.

It does hit pretty bad. When I get the new intake on I'm going to build a new pipe with vband clamps and ls7 MAF. Hopefully. Still doing a little research on that

I put up a picture of the new radiator. Bell core 24x16x2.25

L5, And id rate them 6 out 10 on fitment. They look good but where it lines up with truck isn't straight

I am interested to see the difference in the powerband with that intake. Could you overlay pre and post dyno runs (once your tuned again)?

Thats awesome. I saw it run at FL2K last year, and he knows a couple of the guys I work with. It's no joke!

Are you located in GA by chance? I'm not sure where all the NYC2ATL guys are located lol

I actuallly don't have a dyno sheet with before/after. Just one build!

My LS 1 made 418 and about 10 lbs less torque than your LS 6 with same basic stuff bolt on's cam and tune, after adding the blower she was at 630+ and 550, later upgraded the fuel system and re tuned and 650 & 555, curious how the intake will do myself, mods are very similar with exception of ls6 to ls1

What pulley ? how much boost ?

it's got a 3.6'pulley right now, it's going
To be on e85 with the second auxiliary fuel system. It made 420 on motor with the set before the blower and intake. I'll know next week how much boost! I'm shooting for the neighborhood of 650+

Ive also been reading up online courses on tuning to tune my self. I'm tired of paying atlanta tuners and doing power and no drivability so it might get me a while before it really gets to 650 as I'm going to be super conservative

Oh hell yeah. I'm in Alpharetta just north of the city. We will have to meet up sometime when yours is all back together. I had a stock 04 Z but just recently got an 03 widebooty Z that is just an N/A setup right now, but it will get boost eventually. Can't let my 4 cylinder FWD car be faster than it haha.

My 04 got wrecked unfortunately, but it is the reason I have the 03 now. And my 4 cylinder car is an 05 Saturn Ion Redline that I've had since 2007. I built the engine and turbo swapped it from the supercharger setup a little over 3 years ago. Its got a Bullseye S259et on it and makes 650whp all in. Fun little shitbox lol

My 03 Z06

And my Redline
