Default APS Twin turbo kit

What are you guys doing to stop the oil from draining past the oil seals?

I've had the seals replaced several times. I'm told that since the turbos sit so low that oil will go past the seals when sitting for any period of time. I have a good savage pump on it...

Is there a check valve I can put in to stop oil from draining back? Is there a switch I can put in to stop the oil draining down from the feel line?

APS kit runs a solenoid in the oil feed line as far as I know.

There are oil no seals as such, but if this solenoid was stuck open with engine off, gravity could cause oil to get places where it should not.

Change the scavenge pump that pumps the oil back up to a turbowerx pump and problem solved. Do a search on turbowerx on the forum and you will find a lot.

I took out the solenoid used a low pressure check valve and then ran the scavenge pump about 30 seconds after I turn the car off. The APS kit has a check valve in the discharge line of the scavenge pump, but I found that they sometimes stick open or don't seal 100%. Take it apart and cleaning it helped me a lot too. BTW I'm still using the APS scavenge pump made by Weldon and its working fine for me. Hope this information helps you out.

Sorry, been on Vacation...

It has an up graded external scavenge pump. I ordered 2 new check valves to put at the turbo's to see if that will solve any drain back issues. I will be putting the pump on a 30 second relay and checking to see if the solenoid on the oil feed line is working right.

This car only has 11k original miles and it smokes like it has 300k on it. When the car sits for a few days you can see where the oil is leaking out of the turbos on the ground.
