Haha actually Im gonna see if i can schedule something at the end of next week. Tomorrow we should be done tuning in the new ZR1/LSA 3 bar map sensor so I'll be able to push the car now to full tilt. Also by the end of next week Ill probably have 500 miles on the new motor as well and itll be ready to be flogged on

100% correct, they make great stuff and they work very well. The iron block is actually running a few degrees cooler than the LS3. I was thinking it would run warmer.

Custom setup I made consisting of two Walbro 450 pumps. Early C5 bottom style fuel tanks.

interesting. what temps water/oil are you seeing? perhaps you ended up with a bit more cruise timing or something? that's awesome.

Im a fan of the walbros as they worked perfectly for a few years now in the car. I made 670rwhp through an auto with the two pumps and stock non return fuel lines. Now with a return setup theyre currently supporting over 850rwhp.

Im still on conventional 15w40 as I break in the motor but the highest oil temps ive seen has been around 223* in traffic on a warm day after driving for a while but its usually in the lower 200's. Water temps are in the 190's avg, highest has been 205-210*.

with both valve covers vented and no valley plate vent, where are you running the catch can to?

It still pulls oil vapors from the valve covers under vacuum.
