K1 isn't bad stuff depending on your power level. We beat the snot out of my buddies 850 RWHP SBC cutlass for about 8 years. Made well over 600 bottom 9 second 1/4 mile passes hitting it with a regular 275 shot of NOS. It was a stock block grudge car that met its demise by splitting the block in 1/2 and destroying EVERYTHING below the intake manifold. Lol

Another buddy started flexing an eagle crankshaft at 1200 RWHP. He flexed 2 before he went with a Bryant SBF unit.

I went with a Callie's in my 6.0 build

This rotating assembly never have bad pressure before, and never be empty oïl.

Problem was at the drag strip, at his max power (+800rwhp i think)

Curuisly, all rod bearings are good (but i will change all of them, as the cam bearings).

For the balance, i was just thought about it, i ask if the specialist can balance my crank if i can measure the weight of a piston / segment / axle / circlips / connecting rod / (old) connecting rod).

The first stroker rotating assembly was balanced from USA, without damper and flywhell.

NEWS ABOUT MY CRANCK : In fact, the crankshaft is bent 0.15mm to the radius...

With the amount of debris and damage...and the fact the rod bearings get supplied after the mains...It would be pretty amazing form the rod bearings not to have suffered major damage too.

And flywheel, damper etc usually tend to be neutrally balanced. The crank itself should be balanced to suit the weight of the reciprocating opponents attached to it which are variables.

ie rods, bearings, pistons, pins, rings.

Now it isnt absolutely critical to do this, I'm sure many have thrown different pistons or rods onto stock cranks before and never bothered. But it is not the correct thing to do.

It should be balanced.

Yes, amazing, rod bearings not to have suffered damage...

A friend of mine who work on (trucks) engine during the day (his job for the 30 past years) and V8 the weekend (old stock v8, prepered ponctiac engine, and a V10 viper last year) see the rod bearings and said is amazing, but they are okay.

Getting back to bent vs twisted: A bend will bind the mains as it rotated, but the rod bearings wont be that much off...which would explain that
