Nitrous banned for cars ( for now)?
Hit two shops here in TX yesterday to refill one of my Nitrous bottles. Was told that recent storms out West contributed to this. The Nitrous is now ONLY for Medical use... Not being sold to race. Is this just a Texas thing? Or are you guys experiencing the same thing in your State?
I am told that this could go on for 2-6 months?

California too. I heard the 2 major US plants are shut down one for a explosion the other for breaking down trying to keep supplying working around the clock. Or so i heard from a nitrous driver delivering to a dentist 2 weeks ago. He said he believed end of feb they will have it avaliable...

I don't know...
With Duck's race in a few weeks, I'd say there's a critical need in the racing community.

Nitrous is not banned. There was an explosion while filling a tanker truck that killed a man. The plant was shut down while the investigation took place to determined what caused the accident so that it does not happen again. As it has caused a temporary shortage in some areas. I have heard the plant is back up and running but do not know that for certain. Everyone I talk to says they will be caught back up by February. :-)
