Default Supercharger upgrade list

I have a 98 stock coupe, looking to install an A&A supercharger and was wondering what should be upgraded before/at the same time as installing the supercharger.

I'll assume it's an Si unit. What pulley are you going to start with?

Usually, the clutch is the only thing that can be a "must do".

I always recommend people seriously look at running the proper tires for big power, but it usually falls on deaf ears. It seems most people are more interested in bragging about spinning tires at 70mph than actually having grip.

Depending on the mileage of your C5,I would recommend replacing your h2o pump, thermostat, belts & hoses.

Waterpump and some hoses were leaking before and have been replaced, and just recently did a coolant presser test,

I was told to go with a heavy valve spring, headers and ls6 intake before supercharging anything else ?

This list can get long. What kinda fuel system do you plan to use? Trans brace, and a Diff mount.

You may want to look at some of the other build threads here, for instance like
Chicago1 and Patches stuff among others an many more........

all you "need" is a clutch, but the list of things you could do is a mile long... one thing nobody mentioned yet is a good catch can.

Mine as well change the alternator bracket and the power steering pulley to a steel one, cost for both was like $120

I also upgraded the valvetrain - trunions, pushrods, springs, alternator bracket, injectors, and fuel pump...

Left the clutch and drivetrain alone for now - little over 500 rwhp and still holding....

if you ever plan to run a secondary drive you don't need the updated alternator bracket because you have to cut the piece off that is stronger on the updated bracket to install the secondary drive
