Stock c5 drivetrain with A&A procharger?

Stock c5 drivetrain with A&A procharger?
I'm not looking to track it or do hard launches, just to have a badass vette. Car is a bone stock 02 Z with 100k miles. Rear diff recently went out and got replaced with a 42k mile 3 rib out of a base c5 (so it's not shot peened), along with a freshened up tranny (still stock, just replaced worn parts), and a monster lvl 2 clutch. Is it just not pheasible to slap an A&A kit on there? Should I just stick with HCI? I used to have an 03 cobra and I miss the forced induction scene! Let me know what you guys think.

It's definitely not off the table, but it really just depends on how much power you're looking for. Most people who purchase the A&A Si kit sit anywhere from 550-580rwhp with the 3.6 pulley with an otherwise near stock car. Your engine May last a very long time at that power level, but it will depend on how you drive the car and even more so on the tune. The tune is the most critical part.
You have a bit of miles on the car, but I imagine it could still last a long time if you've freshened up the drivetrain.

I'd say as long as you're not launching hard on serious drag radials you'll be absolutely fine. shoot, there are some guys who have taken their cars pretty dang far on stock drivetrain even at the track so you may even get a bit of track time out of it as long as you're not crazy. I think you'll be fine.

I agree, if you don't launch it hard it can last and roll races on drag radials should be fine... your driving style is part of the equation and everything is a gamble but I certainly would not let that deter you from putting the kit on your car

I never track my car, but I do like to have a fast car and occasionally I will do some spirited runs. With that said I am on my stock drive train with a textralia oz 700 clutch and no issues.

When the LS3 went in, the clutch assembly was swapped out for an LS7 system, and the trans and rear end were freshened.
I've only got about 3K on the new engine, and it's way too cold for traction to be anything other than a dream, but I've seen other cars in this area running at the track with simiilar setups and stock trans/rear end, and doing just fine.
As mentioned above, the tune is crucial. And if you're not trying to be Mr Hardcore Dragracer, you can baby it a little off the line.
