I think with the stock cam, I typically shifted around 6200 rpm.
over 800RWHP ?? did you turn the boost up ? 9's with a stick ?
even the 525/577 and low 11s @ 125 MPH are comparable to the new Z06/ZR1/Hellcat !

Yes, added meth injection, bigger fuel system, and a camshaft. Continued increasing aiflow till manifold pressure was 18 psi.

Wow, he/we probably wouldn't go that far with it, good to know 8-9 PSI made so much power "safely" for so long

I just took my gen 3 5.3 build to the dyno the other day. Stock 01 silverado bottom end, BTR stage 3 turbo cam, 243's, btr springs retainers yada yada, ls2 intake, and the Hinson single turbo kit with a turbonetics TC78(78/68). Gonna try and get the controller right this weekend and see how it'll do. Still a ton left in it boost wise, and timing wise. I wanted to drive it home, and play with it some so we stayed super conservative.

On what the locals call a "Ball busting" mustang dyno HAHA:
93 octane and roughly 12 degrees (Give or take a lb boost wise)
527 whp/485tq on 10psi
549 whp/530tq on 12psi
582 whp/560tq on 14psi
(second pull to confirm 572/559)

C16
@4600 rpm 659 whp/761 tq

Gate stuck closed, we had been having issues with it and the boost leash all day. Couldn't ever get it to increase, ended having to do all this with just spring combination, tried to run the race gas stuff through the controller and go up to 18/20 psi but it hung closed and made 25psi by 4k and i couldn't get off the gas fast enough. I wouldn't have drove the thing home if i would have stayed in that run.

I know its not a "Stock" ls1 like the OP was looking for results wise, but its not anything radical so maybe itll help give some context. The only thing not stock on the motor is the cam and springs really. Little ol 5.3 putting in work.

My old setup was a single T4 6775 billet .96, it's start making boost at 1800, fully lit by 2700, 500+ftlbs by 3200 and carried that to redline. made low 600s on 7psi and 15* on E85.

Fun N/A-ish turbo street setup, lag near non existent.
78mm seems to be the default norm in the LS world, along with 3" hotsides. I tend to disagree.

By "3" hotside" do you mean the DP or the pre-turbo xover/up-pipe ? what size did you use ? smaller dia. piping going to the turbo is supposed to keep velocity better going to the turbo for better spool, I was under the impression that it's best to go smaller pre-turbo for that reason, but as big of a DP as possible is best to aid flow post-turbo....

yes I meant 3" pre-turbo. downpipe go biggest you can fit.
2.25 is a sweet spot, give clearance for run more downpipe, 2" works too and so does 2.5", really depends who you ask. i'll focus more on downpipe vs uppipe.

Awesome, I agree bigger turbos seem un-needed at these power levels, what was the engine/cam setup where it made low 600s ? was this an LS1 ? any track/dyno #s ?
And, did you find that boost coming so quickly caused traction problems ? did you run drag radials or leave from a dig in 2nd or something else ?
