Re: 2002 CORVETTE Z06 SUPERCHARGING SYSTEM (SilverStar)
IMO, It will come down to quality of product and brand loyalty.
Vortech has a rep of making quality product. Usually thoroughly designed and tested and packaged as complete a kit as possible and looks like it should be OEM once it's installed.
Using Vortech in the past, I am sold on Vortech and they've earned my business if I were ever to go SC again.

How does this compare to the ATI system. Seems like the same performance gains for more $$$$.

You should see a 130-140hp gain for the Vortech kit. plus it comes with computer programmer (ATI kit doesn't). The 2002 Z06 kits will be shipping soon and the others should follow soon.

However, whether this is truly all you'll need to spend remains to be seen. I'm amazed at the way tuning has been tossed around here in the FI section to justify all sorts of comments, all the way from an included hand tuner to needing 3 days on the dyno! I guess the brave that go first will let us know.
