I don't know about anybody else, but I think that is the coolest application for a nitrous install that I've ever seen!

My friend has that set up on his 396. It's jetted for a 300 shot. He has the solenoids on the sides of the fuel rail. Fits perfect. Nice and clean. Looks mean.

Re: Why not us the NOS NOSzle direct port. (Hammer)
Looks great, and I too have wondered why this unit is not talked about more.
But....my primary concern was with the longer travel required of the fuel injectors shot, as it must travel further down the "adapters" tunnel, if the pattern was negatively affected and thereby affecting the daily driving aspect of the motor. Seems that the tunnel would negatively affect the wide spray pattern of the stock injector during part thottle conditions. With as many rags that have talked about it, I am surprised nobody has taken a look at the spray pattern "post" adapter.
If you've got this up and running, have you seen any off idle stumble or around town driveability issues when not on the juice?

Re: Why not us the NOS NOSzle direct port. (PowerKraus)
PowerKraus hit the nail on the head. With both the NX and NOS versions, the spray pattern is dramatically affected. The spray angle is narrowed and durning WOT runs, the fuel collects on the side of the tunnel and then dips down. The fuel is much harder to burn when it is not atmoized.

I disagree. The reason why it has been delayed for over 8 months is that it does disrupt the injector flow patterns and they still have not figured it out yet.

I guess you guys answered/confirmed my suspicions on these new fangled systems....I imagine that is why I have not seen a rag test the system.
Gosh, all it would take is for one to buy an individual "nozzle", $80.00 each, take you a 1 gallon bug sprayer, pressurize the bottle with water, hook it to the injector , i.e. as if it were a fuel line, and then run 12 volts to the injector taking it "static" and then check out what the "plume" looks like. Got drip?
So I am thinking, can we get the guy with the system to try this experiment. Dreaming eh?
Well, anyway, I have my fill of the turbo route with my GN at over 2hp p/c3 in. So with my cheby I'll do the nitrous gig. Looks like the general vote, and for simplicity is the NX or NOS wet system infront of TB, a 3000 min and 5800ish cap for a 6 speed equiped buggy. Don;t want any puddles in the intake...And no go on the TPS trigger, but rather the trigger on the gas pedal.
I can't friggen believe a vendor can;t get the TPS trigger right. Heck in the buick community there is a _utload of gimmicks that tap into the TPS signal. Anyone ever contact Caspers Elec. on them developing a TPS trigger...sounds so simple to have a switch that energizes when it read 4+ volts.
Sorry guys, just a little rant.
