For $1000 I could buy some nice tools for my garage for future tinkering. :D
Besides, working on the car is half the fun. :yesnod:

I just got a qoute today from one of the Corvetteforum vendors regarding a D1SC install. So this is how it goes.

Installation of the Procharger P1SC or D1SC kit - $1,500
Installation of the Fuel System (Racetronix) - $300
Dyno Tune - $400

This is no parts just installation and labor costs.

Let me know what you think.

Hey INSOMNIAC, I'll do it for half that. That way I can practice on yours before I tackle mine. :D
I offer a 1 minute warranty for $1000 though

If you're a wrencher you might consider just getting somebody to pin the crank for you then install the rest of the kit yourself. You'll still need to get someone to dyno tune it for you (and $400 is a good price if they can do it right), but the rest of the kit is fairly easy.

Pinning the crank is easy too, just a little time consuming.

$1200 was what I paid, but that was a while ago. After reading the posts around here I wish I had just done it myself. :banghead:

It's costing me 1,000 for the install, then 600 for the dyno tuning.

Does the $1,000 installation cost include the fuel system too? Are you getting the standard Procharger or a modified version of it installed on yours?
