Got my upgrade KIT from Magnuson Two big boxes (1) parts (2) return carton. I already had blower removed so all I had to do was stick in box and get to UPS to ship to Mag so they can do their thing.

Anyone interested, here is the install documentation

Now I can install all the misc STUFF (heat exchanger, resorvior, fuel pump, wiring, etc) and wait for blower to arrive

Neet! I can't wait to get mine installed. Here is a question: The intercooler and reservoir, is the fluid the same as your radiator fluid? Or is there some special fluid combo that circulates through the system. Might sound like a dumb question but I really don't know.

The reason I was inquiring about the coolant was for when I put the car away in storage for the winter. I dont want parts bursting when the temps go below zero.

Whats with the valley cover
I was under the impression the only thing that Magnuson replaces on the blower is the top half of the manifold, it appears by looking at the valley cover that the whole manifold is going to be different.
And so much for my LS6 style cover

They had a space problem fitting the intercooler fine inside the intake and still fitting the blower under the hood....so instead of going up, they went down (So the new valley cover is probably deeper than the stock one.

Waiting for my kit to get here from Magnuson on Monday or Tuesday.

The valley cover had groves for knock sensor wires & bolts are counter sunk to provide a little more space for cooler.

Water wetter is soap (surfactant) prevents cavitation in the cooler, promotes good heat transfer but does not prevent freezing. I think you need to add a mixture of antifreeze to the system to prevent freezing in cold climates. Best to check with MagnaCharger see what they say.

I have a LS6 engine, the PCV connects to the valley cover, what are the options with this cover?

It's a BOSCH pump sold through FORD racing, probably used on the Lightning and/or GT40

I think Magnuson uses different part #s for the LS1/LS6. Which will probably have a different vally comver

yeah its used on the lightnings, my lightning has the same pump, probadly the cobra too

They send you a new SUPERCHIP program to install. BUT I'm not going to use it, they just change some fuel and added a little more timing. I'm going back to my Dyno/Tuner after install.
