My i/c magnacharger project
Hi All,
I've been reading this board for a while, but this is my first actual post. I have a bone stock 2002 coupe I am putting the i/c Magnacharger on. I will let y'all know how it goes. Does anyone have any suggestions about additional bolt ons that work well with the Mag?
BTW, I am getting the MCM hood for my car. Don at yourcorvette.com gave me the best price in the country for the hood. Everything is ordered and on it's way!

Congrats on the new blower. You should consider changing your plugs to NGK TR6's. I'm sure you'll love your new setup.

Good tip concerning using NGK TR-6 plugs. Also a good time to change out the thermostat and reprogram the fans when you do the tune. Good Luck

Everything else is academic without a proper tune. Take pics along the way to chronicle the install. We'd like to see how this comes together.

Congrats on the project. I'll throw in my $0.02.
I have the Mag & that cam in my car, but my Mag is not intercooled. The cam made a big difference about 5,500 rpms or so, and indeed very much necessitated new valve springs. I'm wondering if the intercooled Mag alone, because it can provide more efficient psi, will even without the cam perform better at higher rpms, thereby also benefitting from better springs.
Just a thought, as at least a handful of folks have found the stock springs to not handle the upper rpms very well.
Yes, thanks for the reminder. I am also considering the 21st century blower cam.
