How much boost do you lose when you install longtube headers?

Drifting
loosing boost is a good thing in this case, as it means more of the charge is making it's way into the combustion chamber instead of backing up in the intake manifold

It depends on the other mods you have done and if the exhaust system is really the restriction.
When I added 1 3/4 kooks last year with 3" high flow cats and 3" X pipe and full 3" pipes back to the mufflers I thought I had lost at least 2lbs of boost.
So I called ATI and they suggested I go to a 3.6" pulley from my 3.85" well to make a long story short the loss of boost turned out to be belt slippage.
I kept the 3.6" pulley but limit the revs to 6000 to keep the boost to 8.2lbs.
The advantage is boost comes on at a lower rpm.
