Default Question on '03 Anniversary car

I recently have thought about getting an '03 anniversary convertible. However, I have yet to see one for sale with the MN6, all seem to be autos. Were the anniversary cars produced with the 6 speed manual?
*I am speaking of the actual 50th anniversary edition (anniversary red with shale interior and top).

Of course there were '03 Anniversary cars with an MN6.

33% of all '03s had the 1SC package a total of 11,632. 24% of all 03's built had the MN6 - so by extropolation - approximately 2792 1SC cars had the MN6.

I know they exist - one of the fellows that comes up to our weekly show has an MN6 convertible.

They do exist, but were not easy to find, where I live MN6 are hard to find in general. There were only 5 available on all of Long Island when I was looking and some dealers where charging a premium over the option cost to get one.

Which is why I have an A4

I've got the 6 speed AE as you describe, love it. The 50th anniversary site posted above is a great site for info on these cars.

Here's a picture of a Coupe with the MN6 next to a Long Island Vert with an MN6:

The 50th AE 4th of July gathering will be running the "Tail of the Dragon" and The Atlanta Speedway this July. Over 100 AE cars are expected this year, all in one place. Last year we had 50 cars in Atlanta. People caravan from all over the country to join the fun. The "Third Gear" link for more information is here: http://www.50th3rdgear.com/forums/

If you have a 50th AE come join the fun and make some new friends!

Yes, you could get a 6 speed in the anniversary car. Nice combination - hope you can find one.

Just step on an A4 and go, I say. Sticks are no fun in stop and go. Having said all this, in a clutch, get a stick.
