Default '01 Mirror Courtesy Light Mystery

'01 Coupe, My map courtesy lights on my mirror quit. I Hooked up a factory new mirror with the same results so it's not the mirror ??

Do they fail to light under both conditions.
They are designed to be turned on when the door is first opened, then go off when the car is started, and also when pushing the button manually.
Each mode is a different circuit.
For the first mode, the BCM turns on all the courtesy lamps and mirror lamps via fuse 29 and the courtesy lamp relay; however, if this fuse is bad, there will be no other courtesy lamps when the doors are opened.
The second mode (manual pushing of the buttons) is powered via fuse 2, and if this fuse is blown, your glove compartment, and vanity visor mirrors will also not work.
