Default Extra HP gain with KOOKS system

How much extra HP do you think I will gain once I put in the KOOKS headers, highflow cats, and x-pipe? At the fly?
Is 40 HP being too optimistic????

You arent going to get any definite answers to this question. Depending on what other mods you are running, you could see anywhere from 25 to 40 rwhp with the kooks system, as with any other well designed long tube headers.

You could get about that at the flywheel. That would be around 30-34 at the rear wheels.

Indeed, quite a few of us are running KOOKS

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1026071

The largest percentage of respondents in this poll said that they were running KOOKS. And with good reason. The KOOKS rock

That said, I picked up 25 RWHP and 31 ft lbs RWTQ.... untuned.

I went from 298.8 RWHP /308.9 RWTQ before KOOKS headers running 2.73 gears to 323.8 RWHP/ 339.6 RWTQ after KOOKS headers with 3.42 gears.

I probably got more than 25/31 as I went from 2.73 gears with the before to 3.42 gears with the after. That cost me a conservative 5 rear wheel HP / 5 RWTQ on the dyno.
