Time to replace EMT GY tires, what run-flat's should I get??
Hi guys,
I plan to replace the EMT GY tires, do you guys know what are good out there for run-flat? Michelin, Kumho, Yoko? I tend to go toward the Michelin Sport A/S, anyone have these tires? Are they more quieter and better handling over the stock GY EMT's? Thanks!

I'd read this article to get a little better understanding of the Run Flat questions. My understanding is that only the Goodyear and Michelin can be repaired. The Goodyear can go 200 miles with zero pressure, and I think it's the only one.
A lot of folks like the Michelin.....

I have a little over 1000 miles on mine. There is a difference in the ride, a little smoother. I am very satisified. One thing, the tread pattern looks a little aggressive due to the fact that they are all season.

I've been running a set of the Firestone's in the winter on mine. I have had a puncture on them and a local tire shop did a repair - plug and patch method. Been that way for about three years with no loss of pressure or any other problems. I may have to check with Firestone myself and see why they cannot be repaired.

I'm running the Michelin Sport A/S. Much quieter ride and smoother....I do feel as though I'm riding a little higher now than on the GY's and the car feels a little "mushier" in corners.
