Do Not Buy From BlingLights!
I purchased 2 HID conversion kits from Jason at BlingLights a week ago last Friday and so far, neither of them is working correctly.
One kit is a 9006 kit for my wife's Impala SS and one of the bulbs was faulty. Had to return it to California Sunshine for testing before replacement.
The other was an H4 Bi-Xenon conversion kit for my '02. This kit runs the high beams all the time no matter which position the selector stalk is in. I had previously upgraded my headlights with the PFYC high wattage Euro kit which works just fine so it has to be the HID kit that's malfunctioning.
Jason refuses to let me return the kit for a refund because it has already been installed. He keeps telling me to have it professionally installed which we all know is not possible because of legal liabilities.
Besides, there is no way to install this kit wrong, All of the connections are m/f matched and the instructions show exactly what plugs into what. It uses one of the H4 sockets to power the hi/low switch and the hi/low switch plugs into the kit's wiring harness via a 4 pin connector.
Since I am probably out $400 for this kit I thought I should at least let the rest of the forum members in on it.
Also, I saw a post in the C5 Forum where the Catz Bi-Xenon kit is true plug and play and works fine. It will likely cost more but once again, you get what you pay for.

That sucks.
Makes me appreciate having a brother that owns an accessories shop even more. He does no advertising and is always backed up with with ... 2 words ... CUSTOMER SERVICE. He treats me just as well as his customers, or is it vice versa?

I have no experience with this vendor - but as a Forum vendor they are entitled to a fair "trial" - meaning let's hear both sides.
There are Forum guidelines that we have to follow for this sort of thing and we have to avoid being like a pack of jackals jumping on this vendor before both sides are aired.

I'm sorry for the originator's issues, but let's hear both sides before jumping to conclusions....... my .02

I'm surprised you couldn't get them professionally installed. Mine were done professionally and the install has a lifetime guarantee. You should tell Blinglights about your post here..maybe they will reconsider since you've made it public that they won't fix your problem.

I sent the following email to Jason this morning since I did not hear from him or either of the manufacturers he represents yesterday:
"Jason, I sent the engineer an email requesting help that same day and have not heard anything from him. I’m getting the feeling that this is never going to get resolved.
I don’t know if you saw Barbara’s last Email to me but it seems that their installation instructions were wrong and they sent me modified instructions that say to twist the bulb about ½ turn after inserting it into the metal plate. So that the arrows are not lined up when you are done.
Given this, I have grave concerns that they even know how to make the lights switch from hi to lo beam.
Just for you information, I did try the lights with the arrows lined up but I did not leave them that way because I knew that they could fall out of the holders if they weren’t locked.
I also have not heard from Patrick about the DOA lamp that I returned.
I’m trying very hard not to fell like I’ve been taken for $724 but everyday this goes on without being resolved it gets increasingly difficult.
As you are a forum vendor, I am expecting you to stand up for your customers to get this problem resolved even if it means you have to take these kits back and refund the money for them.
