Default And yet another accident

This is number three in 3 months (see http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...1&forum_id=103) Again, I was not at fault as the other car had to yield. I was driving along a four-lane street in the city. Construction work was going on at the outer lane in the opposite direction and some workers were regulating the traffic. I passed this area rather slowly in the inner lane when I suddenly heard a squealing noise and I saw a black car (that later turned out to be a Ford Mustang) coming from the left. I braked hard and tried to change to the outer lane, but could not avoid the collision.

Am I doomed?
Robert

I don't know what to say, Robert. If there's a bright spot, they say things happen in three's. You have arrived.

Sorry to hear about your misfortunes robert. You have certainly been having some terrible luck. Keep your head up and I am glad you are alright. Cars can be repaired more easily than people.

Damn dude that sucks! Sorry to hear.

Good news is it wasn't your fault, so insurance will get you all fixed up and you won't be paying long term.

You may want to consider public transportation for awhile until the stars are aligned in your favor

wooha

at least its glass and can be panel swapped

sux to be some ****** in a steel / tin plated car with part of the body going right up and over to the other side.. for them its a write off, or at best welding in replacement metal before repairs... blech

at least our parts pop off , and pop on, and good as new!

at least you have done your statistical quota....

My dad taught me that you have to not only drive carefully, as I'm sure you did, but you have to drive for everybody else too...

Good luck with the repairs.
