Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I have had the car for only about 3 months, but I sure do get a lot of comments about the color. I'm glad I decided on this particular car, but I didn't realize that it would be almost as hard to keep clean as a black one .
This was the first time that I have run the car at a autox. Since the turnout was on the small side, I was able to get about 8 practice runs in, along with 3 timed runs. The fastest people were in the 56-58 sec range, I was off by about my usual 10%, with a best of a 63 something. The car was not to blame, I'm just not a great autox driver yet, but I'm working on it .

You too, huh? My times are really slow but still great fun. I am claiming that I used to drive an automatic Miata that requires camping out on the accelerator to get it through the course. natural reaction of camping out on the accelerator of a Corvette spins it in any mode. So at least that's my story and I'm sticking too it.
Nice car
