Welcome to (corvette) the forum! You will (corvette) definitely learn a lot and (corvette) maybe be pursuaded to buy one. Far be it from us (corvette) to subliminaly convince you to get one.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes.
Also forgot to mention my sister has a 1985 corvette, that she built from when she was 13, now she's 18 and she just sold it. Broke her heart, but she's going away from college and wanted something a bit more reliable. So she got a 1998 Trans am. She says when she is done with college she's getting another vette. LOL!
So I guess you could say, I'm always surrounded by vettes.
I think eventually I'll get one..but it won't be for at least another year. I turn 24 in one week, so I'll wait untill I'm 25 and my insurance drops some.

Josh Lamson of Houston, I don't think you made too many friends after your postings in the locked thread about "vettes are the slowest cars".
Welcome to the forum if you truly want to be friendly toward vette owners, but after reading this thread, I am not quite sure. I hope so, because I have found vette owners to be very enthusiastic toward the mustang community, especially here in the midwest where we enjoy any kind of American muscle.

If you are here with good intentions, then welcome. I hope that your posts earlier are not indications of future posts. The corvette forum is a great place to gain important knowledge and meet great people if you are willing and respectfull. Hopefully there will be no more threads going the same route that the previous one traveled.

If you really want to get along and contribute to our forum then you must stop posting crap on the Ford/Mustang forums. I'm not too sure they like you on their forum either.

Welcome to the forum BlueCobra. You drive a Cobra Mustang, and joined the Corvette Forum. That's too cool. Hey I love Cobras, Vipers, Model T's, and everything in between. I wave to them all. They're car people, like myself. Get em out and drive them. Help beautify America.

Looking at your threads from the stang forum as well as here I personally think you are a foolish adolescent attempting to troll around, but welcome anyway. Why dont you whine over on the camaro and trans am forums where you belong rather than bothering us?

Welcome to the forum As Mike said, it's not the car that we have problems with, it is the attitude of some owners. Glad to have you here.

I liked Mustangs at one time. Then I bought a Vette. End of story. If you and your girlfriend get married and someday if you have children will they come from a "mixed" marriage?????

On that last discussion nobody ever pointed out my points and argued them back..
I guess you guys have a sore spot for the 03/04 cobras. It brings out the worst in ya'll. Cheaper and more hp. If you look at my arguement..if anything Corvette owners should take it as a complement. That the Vette was or is "the base line" of performance, and they tried/or did, beat it.
What was cracking me up the most..many were stating that your not supposed to compare the c5 to the cobra. To me that's just delusional statement. I think a few agreed with me.
And also to ignore the fact that mach 1 mustangs are running the same or not better times then the c5 is also delusional.
But I guess some vette owners need to learn the hard way.
Oh and I'm going to the drag strip tonight. Houston Raceway Park if anyone is interested in running.
Cheers
