Default C5 trailer hitch?

Thinking of getting a C5 but would have to get a hitch put on it. Do they make a trailer hitch reciever for the C5 that looks nice?

Thanks,
Steve

Trailer Hitch Yup, bought one about a month ago. Haven't put it on yet but will when necc.

Only 89 bucks.... granted, it doesn't come with the little hardware but it's still almost half price.

I have the drawtite and very pleased with it. Small receiver and tucks under nicely. Blends in with the black vette.

I've seen some C5s with hitches installed. Not sure of the brands, but they did look good on the car and did a nice job of blending in on the car.

Both are Drawtite but they have a very different mounting system, just look at the end of the bars.

Default Trailer Hitch

Do they make a Trailer hitch for the C-5 that can be hidden when not in use, ie, maybe having a crome Corvette Tag that slips into the hole when the hitch is not in. Any ideas or pictures?

The Ecklers Drawtite (not sure about the other one) mounts back under the car. When in use the tounge locks into the receiver on the hitch. When not in use just remove the tounge and you cannot see the hitch.

VETTE magazine did a story on one awhile back. Check it out here:

(Caution: very slow loading )

They used a Reese Class II hitch (3500 lbs cap)

Do people on the road look at you like "what are you doing towing with a vette"?

I want to get one to pull a sea doo that I take on vacations and then when at the launch just unhook it from the car and walk the trailer into the water.
