Those are very old Lingenfelter fiberglass fuel rail covers. Unfortunately, they don't make them anymore. I had them custom painted with the skulls several years ago.

And what's wrong with opening up an old thread? Adding to an old thread that consolidates a topic for all?

Is that a forum rule or something?

Well, you most likely won't get responses from many in the old thread and I think the old threads are supposed to be closed after some period by the website but I don't think that's worked for a while.

I don't see a problem with opening an old thread but realize you probably won't get much from people in the original part of the thread. Almost wish people would do this instead of opening hundreds of new threads on Oil pressure senders, batteries, rocking seats, EBCM's...., there's plenty of good info there and people don't look because they are too lazy to SEARCH first. By now, most if not all recurring issues for the C5 have been documented to DEATH and opening new threads just makes searching more complicated by adding nothing useful.

At least if they open an old thread, they might have READ it and realized they have the answer already.

If I am not mistaken, I believe I have the template for the cut out with all measurements somewhere if anyone is in need of it.

May sound crazy but I took a very large piece of cardboard and cut it to the shape of my hood , cut out the card board to the shape I wanted ..
Taped it to my hood , traced it out with a fine sharpee prayed and cut lol
Reinstalled hood and fine tuned it !
Thing I love about it , when your driving down the road the double takes I get

IF it's a word file or some sort of electronic version I would LOVE IT for down the road when I can afford to put a maggie on mine.

No, It's an actual cardboard template you tape on hood and draw out

That sounds like it would be even more convenient since it's literally a template.
