Default Need some quick help on michelin tires

I just got my new tires mounted on my wheels. But I can't tell which tires should go on the passenger side and which go on the driver side of the car. Are michelin tires directional? Because I can't see any arrows on the outside of the tire to tell me. Michelin Pilot Sports to be specific. Thanks

There should be a rotational arrow on the sidewall as they are
directional. Look right above the size indicator on the sidewall.

to my knowledge, the tires indeed are directional. now whether they were mounted properly (in vs out) on the wheels is a different issue. of course the fronts are 17" while the rears are 18". presuming they put the correct size tires on the correct wheels (just kidding), you hopefully will get to see a small directional arrow noting direction of travel. good luck. bub

I have looked over every square inch of the sidewall and I do not see a directional arrow. The only thing I see is a weird arrow looking thing that goes all the way around the tire. But the weird arrow points both directions. The one closest to the number on the sidewall points one way, and the one above it points the other way... I know it sounds confusing, but I can hardly make any sense out of it myself. Is that it? I mean it shouldn't be a secret message.

Maybe this will help. Can anybody point out on this tire the directional arrow?
Click on the 1000 x 1000 super view to see it up close after clicking the link.
Maybe somebody could edit the pic in paint and circle what I need to be seeing, and then repost it. Thanks.

Default Pilot Sport PS2

Following is a response to a question on Michelin PS2 that I found at another site. The response to the question came from a Gary at TireRack.

No, not directional, just assymetric. You'll see one sidewall marked 'outside', as it sounds mount that one facing outside...that is it.
