rear view mirror blue led mod complete!
Vett_girl gave me this idea and kudos to her goodness on this one! My mirror (99 vert) requires the 212-2 bulb type which is a festoon type(44mm length) bulb. Not too difficult to install these but watch out for the hot bulb when u remove the stock ones!
Now I have blue leds in the foot well, trunk and rear view mirror for the complete blueness look. Here's the site for anyone who wants go get em: autolumination.com
Enjoy!

Here are 2 pics. These never do the lights justice though.
First is a pic of the interior through my drivers door area. U can see the blue light bouncing off my Escort and the steering wheel:
This one is from outside the car looking toward the windshield:

Thanks for the support everyone! Sorry about the pics, but there's no better way to take them to make it easy to see the interior.
As for the door panel pads, they don't put out enough light to make it worth my time to mess w/ them. I'm going with the big output ones which really set off the interior.
Thanks for all your tips though vett_girl!

As for the <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=22&k=door%20panel" onmouseover="window.status='door panel'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">door panel</a> pads, they don't put out enough light to make it worth my time to mess w/ them. Anytime I've got 5mm lights coming this week for the door controls, I'll take a pic so you can see what you'll be ordering next

That looks awesome. Not much light output compared to white though. I might do the xenon bulbs which have a slight bluish tint but still put out a good amount of light. Nice mod. Colin
