Can I put my rear 18 inch wheels on front?
Wondering if I can put my rear 18 inch wheels with standard runflat rubber up front on my 04 Z? Is there enough turning and wheel well clearance? Oh yeah.. I lowered the car about 1.5 inches. I would like to have 18" Z06 chromies all the way around it rather than the 18" rear and 17" front.
Thanks
Thanks

OEM wheels or aftermarket? I suspect putting regular 18" rear wheels on the front will have a nasty offset. I have Z06 chromies now that I'm happy with. I would love to only have to buy 2 wheels rather than all 4.

Fairly common mod. Put the stock 18" rear wheels on the front with 265/35-18 tires and aftermarket 18"X10.5" wheels on the rear with 295/35-18. No problems with offsets, tires rubbing or traction control. Some have gone to 275"s in the front and 305's in the rear. 305's are not as available as 295's and probably cost more. If there 305/30-18, they tire O.D. may may smaller than the front tire. Some guys have reported no problems with smaller O.D. tires on the rear, while others have.

Yes, you should be able to do this.

thanks Guys.. No offset issues? How does the OEM rear look on the front? I've heard there is like 5 mm difference in offset. I suspect can't hardly see 5mm but figured I will ask...

Will these fit the front.. backspacing and all?
SIZE AND SPECIFICATIONS: There are two 18" x 10.5" wheels for the rear (+56mm offset, 7.88" backspace). This is the same as the Corvette Grand Sport offset. The lug pattern is 5x120.65mm.
thanks guys
