Check out what I saw on Ebay:

[URL=http://cgi.ebay.co No ebay links

Man, I hope it sells for better than what the current bid is. Huge loss ($$).

Sorry to see you go Iceburgh.

I noticed it was for sale at the cruise-in earlier this year.

I haven't sunk as much $ into my C5, but I've spent more than I should have. It is fun, but expensive.

But hey, if you have the money and that is what you love doing, then there is no problem Now if you had done it specifically for the 'investment' and the 'prestige', that's a whole 'nother story.

I mod my car to hell, but it's a keeper for life, and it's my childhood dream so there ain't no shame in that.

It seems customs have a limited market.
He might have to put it through an auction. http://www.rmauctions.com/events/TF05.cfm
Best of luck though...............I hope I don't get the itch to sell mine.

Jim has been trying to sell his car for a while. I believe that he is ready to move onto another project. I wish him the best with the sale. I hope he gets what that car deserves to bring.

I thought your car sold at Carlisle this year Jim.

Regardless, someone is definitely going to end up with a helluva deal. It is an awesome ride that I have admired since joining the board.

Good luck with the sale Jim.

Oh no, Jim, you're going to join the C6 forum. So far those that have moved have lost their connection to us, oh no.

But why would you sell your fully mod'd C5 for just 'another C5' that you can drive everyday? That's kinda weird.

Not sure about the hot rod project... IMO the C5 is waaay cooler.

Jim,

Best of luck on the sale.

As to the Z - will it match your C5?

Regarding the rod project - looking good. Have done quite a few myself, always feel better in them, when finished, since it's 'my car', not a production car that hundred's of others have on the road.
