Here's mine, 1999 vert, It used to be a triple black car but after 150,000 miles it was time for a new paintjob and interior sprucing up too, and living in the So. Cal desert black was not a very good color, Very hot and gets way to dusty. So I had her painted Mellenium Yellow. I think she came out great. I think that Yellow vettes also tend to fetch more $$$ when selling too, Enjoy

This is how she used to look

My C5 with new C7 OEM Z51 wheels & tires. Bought this from someone who purchased it from CF member Mojo1... See post #6 (Holy ressurection of the old posts, that was over a decade ago!)

Millennium Yellow is my FAVORITE Corvette color of all time, the millennium yellow C5 is what influenced my decision to pull the trigger on my first Corvette, a 2001 MY Coupe AUTO w/33K on the clock, I chose it over my then favorite kind of car the 2002 triple black WS6 Trans Am Convertible. Corvettes ever since have been my one and only favorite car instead of sharing the title with the Trans AM/Formula. I traded her in about 4 years ago for my C6. I will own another 2001-04 MY Corvette again when I can afford to have multiple Corvettes. I wanted a Millennium Yellow C6,but they were too rare and I was too impatient to wait. I had way too much fun in my C5, I had the engine modded with just minor bolt ons; BBK Shorty Headers, BBK CAI, Magnaflow x-pipe and exhaust with the Z51 package. My baby was loud, rude and pretty damn quick, but the C6 trumped it in every way minus the go-kart feel and the C5 was just raw and I liked that. Someday I will find a pristine MY again, great thread. Here is the pic of the day of great joy and sadness, I cried on the way home because I wish I could have both, no regrets.

Only modest, cosmetic mods here.

Tell me exactly when a Supercharger become a modest cosmetic mod? Maybe in your Road Warrior Thunderdome Fury Road world. Here in the real world that seems like more than a cosmetic mod to me!

Its all relative I guess.

This MY 2002 600rwhp coupe is the least powerful C5/C6 in the group with whom I associate.

There are many such hairy beasts in the Houston area, too.
