Default I finally understand (56k friendly,sort of)

Well I finally get it now, for 30 some years I have been an F-body guy. I always liked the Vette, even worked on a few, but never really understood what all the hype was about, I mean you can get the same power from another type of car for a lot less money, so why spend more? Because that power is not going where it should. If you have never driven one, you can’t really understand this, and I never did so I didn’t get it. The time and energy that is put into this car really does not show till you drive one. It is an engineering masterpiece.

This weekend I finally got the Vert on the road after sitting and looking at it, for 3 weeks in my garage. And let me tell you I don’t think I can go back to my TA now. If you have an F-body and love it, and don’t have a way to buy a Vette, don’t drive one. You’ll be sorry. All the people I have talked to say the same thing about going from F-body to Y-body, the F is raw the Y is refined, and now I couldn’t agree more. I put well over 100 miles on it this weekend with my wife, just cruising around and didn’t want to go home. Hell I’m jones’n now to go out.

This morning was a bright and crisp fall day, so I decided to just take a little spin to a nearby park and shoot a few pics. Enjoy

PS. The last pic is the fist of many mods to come.

I thought this looked cool ,so I just did it
