Default vararam install question

hi,

i recently received a vararam 1b from a member on this board. it seems to be missing a piece. possibly a silicone hose coupler. can you please verify this for me? the piece that attached to the stock airbox was oval shaped on the other end so it was useless.

do i need a silicone coupler for this?:

You are correct, it's missing the coupler. I believe it's shown (picture) on the Vararam site.

You are right, there should be a red coupler that connects the airbox to the MAF.

Call Vararam, I'm sure they can get you one.

i just went and purchased a flexible coupler. i'm correct to assume that the amount of airflow that passes thru there barely contains any pressure correct?

last thing i ordered from vararam took me 2 months to get. their customer service is completely terrible and they openly mislead me with the new "k&n filter" they sent me. it's not k&n and still looks like crap.

Dang, that sucks to hear. Sorry for your grief, I'd be ticked.

PM or email RickAnthonyMotorsports (vettetech81), he sales a ton of these vararams, maybe he'll have a coupler or something?

Itsmeek,

I got a Vararam recently and didn't the red coupler. I already had an aftermarket one. Send me you address and I will send it to you (with clamps) for free.

Merry Christmas
