i'm kinda in the same boat. i'm probably going to repaint my 85 in a year or two, and i want to completely strip the body ('glass and flexable bumpers). the only thing i've found for "rubber bumpers" is this stuff...

http://www.autobodypro.com/tektips/a...lastic_sec.htm

hope this helps -

They have paint remover for Urethane bumpers at the body shop supply house. It comes in spray cans if you want.

Default Paint Removal On Facia

WHAT I'D LIKE TO KNOW IS HOW EASY DOES THE SPRAY CAN WORK AND HOW LONG WOULD IT TAKE . IF IT WOULD BUBBLE UP AND IT WOULD COME OFF PRETTY EASY, IT MIGHT TAKE ME ONLY A COUPLE OF HOURS. THANKS, GREG O.

When i prep'd my lower rear fascia, i simply used sand paper, and sanded through the clear and base down to the eurothane.

Actually he is a tall person.
He was just trying to be helpful about the all caps as some folks don't know about it.
Why don't you take it as a kind gesture instead of telling him to STFU?

Best of luck on finding the products to get the job done.

A Little advice from a Sr member of this forum... you won't last long around here with that attitude... Caps are traditionally in poor taste. To offer a stfu retort to someone who is trying to teach you some corvette forum etiquette which you obviously have none of, is very close to intollerable..so lighten up.

That's the way to encourage people to offer advice.
