Default Looking for Denver area tires/wheels/shocks

Hello forum members.

I am looking for a good vendor in the Denver, CO area to get new wheels, tires and shocks for my 97 Vette.
For wheels Im looking to size up to 18's and 19's and Ill probably go with the Pilot AS Sport for tires.
What is the concensus for the best shocks for a smooth ride?

Thanks for your help.

Also trying to decide if I should replace the brakes as well. As far as I know everything is still stock. I dont do any track racing so I would like to just replace what should be replaced, not neccesarily upgrade.

Advice? New rotors seem unneccesary, perhaps just new pads?

I got my new wheels off a forum vendor and the tires from a Discount Tire near me. They did a pretty good job and had the best prices for the pilots around me. I'm in Highlands Ranch.

thanks TJ, yeah I might get rims from the forum and then just take them to a good tire shop near me.

Still thinking I need a good shop to work on my shocks and brakes.
I live near Brighton, CO. So a shop in the north part of town would be a plus.

You might try Performance wheel on Santa Fe, www.performancewheel.com. I have not been there so I don't know if it is any good. I bought my tires at Discount, they are great and I would recomend them.

If you find a good place, post it here!

For the brakes and shocks maybe call www.rmcorvette.com, they seemed ok on labor. They even said they would install parts I brought in... If you want bling, definately look at the slotted and drilled rotors. And painted calipers if you don't have them already.

Again if you find a good place, post it.

Performance wheel and tire is good. They will also take trades of stock wheels and good used tires. They gave be $225 for my semi-worn rear Goodyears on trade for new Michelins. They have also treated me right with other projects. Also consider Dashworks, they are at Peoria and I-70. Randy and Mark are very knowledgeable about C5's and could probably help with your whole project. They did an incredible job installing headers and tuning my supercharged 01 vert.

Good luck.

Another vote for performance wheel and tire or you could try the tire rack on line.

I have been happy with my bilstien shocks.
