Purchased Part
jrc27 - 1998 - purchased part #9367071 EBCM for $277
Lancer033 - 2002 - purchased new EBCM for $650
add me in, jrc27 where did you get one for $277? Was it used?
UPDATE: Installed ECBM today and it fixed the problem. Didn't even have to clear the codes, they were just gone. I expected the history code to still be there, but oh well. - at least it works now and I'm only out $693 ($650+shipping)
Installing the new one wasn't bad, the only issue I had was seperating the ECBM and PBMV. Service manual says to gently pull them apart, but I had to use a screw driver to pry them apart. Other than that, just unhook the wires, take the 6 T20 screws out, pull them apart, then put it all back together.
If you don't have a warrenty, do it yourself
If you've done the trouble shooting and nothing else works (clean all the electrical connections) to see if that works, then buy the part and install it yourself and save a whole bunch of money.

Ebcm Dtc 1214
Driving with no ABS. DTC 1214 on all of the time. Time to replace the EBCM? After reading all of the post's, this is a very difficult problem to deal with. Spending this amount of money for a part, that may or may not correct the problem is difficult. Also, how important is the ABS?

ebcm module
I have a 2001 ZO6 with 15,000 miles,i have same problem abs and traction control lights on all the time on dash.Took to dealer, said EBCM and also brake pressure modulator valve BAD.Total cost $2,984.00 to fix.GM said they would pay for half under good will policy.Sounds like a lot of corvette owners have this problem.personally,i think GM should cover the total cost to repair.MY $.02 cents.
