Default Painted Back Window

Can those who had the dot matrix (top part of the back window) painted during their tint job post pics? I got mine tinted and the tint isn't sticking at the very top center. The tint guy said he tried sanding the dots down first, and then used heat/pressure afterward....but it still looks bad to me.

I've heard others on here say they had the dot matrix painted, which is what I think I'm going to have to do, but I would like to see pics first.

Thanks

I had mine tinted first and did not like the outcome. The installer painted the dots down to the second line. I like it a lot better. It does not show up in the rear view mirror.

Let me go take a few pics for you.

The flash makes the difference in color of the paint and the factory black more noticable.

Ummmm...

Legal in the state of GA. I think it is 35%. Some sort of "Metalized" tint or some-something. Lifetime warranty.

If you click this picture, you will see the area of dots before I had the area painted.

The installer told me if I did not like the way the tint laid on the dots to bring it back and he would fix it. I took it back after a few days and he made some progress with laying the tint. I took it back a few days later and he painted the dot area for me.
