WUB,GreenMachine Traction Control repair, shift light, Pics Vids etc.
So I wanted to go out and see Fast and the Furious 3 tonight......but there were no takers. So I decided to break into my Vette To Do list.
Steve (FixedRoof) came over to give me a hand......thanks again man.
1. C1288 Code
2. LED DIC buttons and dimmer switch
3. Install Shift LED into Cluster
4. Track down which fuse controls the Fog Lamp/Hatch/Fuel Door Switch.......Fuse #32 passenger comp.
We got all this done!!!! Im very happy. The GreenMachine is perfect again.
C1288 code: See post in C5 Tech...

So since the steering column was out I did my DIC buttons and dimmer switch in green LEDs. To match everything else.
Sorry the pic is so crappy, but that's not important.
Awhile back Steve (FixedRoof) had posted pictures of the shift light that we had installed in his FRC.
So since everything was apart we did it up on the GreenMachine. It is physically integrated into the gauge cluster. Electrically via PCM programming 5800 rpm (Redline 6400) and the use of a microrelay. The tune uses the Skip shift 1-4 circuit to provide the logic for the shift light. So that bulb is removed and the circuit forwarded (wired) to the shift LED (5000mcd Green T1 LED).
Cluster Out

So at 5800 RPM this LED goes crazy bright. Fills the whole cluster with a massive green glow. I LOVE IT.
Here is a very short video showing it in action. CLOSED COURSE.

WUB max the the LED machine wanted to see triple the gayness or some movie we opted out of. Car is sick as always. Just need to get the bald Drag Radials off of it and mount the 335's.

Details
OK
The PCM will have to be tuned for the '1-4 skip shift' light to activate at your desired shift point which should be slightly lower than your redline.
Here is how the hardware is set up.
Rear of cluster
Relay Circuit
Feel free to PM myself or Steve (FixedRoof) for more details.
