Resetting oil life monitor?

Turn the key to on, car being off. Push the throttle 3 times to the floor. All set.
Some cars will work by hitting and holding reset in the oil life screen of the DIC. Mine does not work this way only the gas pedal method works for me.

I can't believe no one jumped in with a torch gun to flame you over this one and the 'look in the manual' answer. (I like to ask on here, too, so I understand) Anyway, just pressing and holding mine zero's it without doing the key/pump thing.

Reading the owner's manual is just too easy. My suggestion to new 'Vette owners (actually everyone with a car) is to place the darn thing next to the crapper. Use it for reading material. You'll be AMAZED at the great information you'll get out of the manual.
Anyhow...no sense flaming the guy. Not all that neighborly.
