ZO6 Polished Wheels
Does anyone have a good place to send polished wheels
to get chromed. I really don't want to buy another set
of wheels
Thanks Jerry

A thought ...
I think there are places that will do a core exchange on OEM for Chromes.
But you might consider selling the polished outright and then buying chromed OEMs from a reputable vendor ... I would make an offer if I was in a position to buy ... someone else may as well.

Jerry,
If you have a set of OEM Z06 polished wheels, DO NOT send them out to be chromed, unless you like to shoot yourself in the foot. It would simply be a waste. There are many, many people who would love to have these and would buy them in an instant. Then get yourself a set of the factory painted OEM wheels, and send those out for chroming.

If you're really set on chrome wheels, have your oem wheels chromed...don't settle for the aftermarket reproduction wheels that weight more than oem.
Try calchrome.com, they have a good reputation. They might have an oem set in stock on an exchange basis.

A replacment set of z16 ploished wheels will cost $1700-$1800. The center caps are $200!
Buy some painted z06 rims here on the forum ($600-$700) and send those to West Cost Corvettes for Chrome exchange ($595)
Bob's House of Wheels sells OEM's that have been chromed on occasion.
