Where is the Headlight Relay??
I posted a few weeks ago about my headlights popping up on their own. I shut them off and they go down and then right back up. Sometimes I shut them off and leave the car for awhile and return to them up and lights on. Someone mentioned the Headlight Relay going bad. Does anybody know where it is or how much it costs to replace???
thanks,
Brandt

I looked in the fuse box next to the battery with all the other relays. Don't seem to find one for the headlights. I turned them on and off a few times last night in the garage and they worked just fine. Still could be a bad switch though. Any thoughts???

Just to clarify, there are 2 circuits for the headlights - one to control the raising/lowering of the headlight doors and one to turn the lights on.
Both circuits get the same ON signal from the switch on the steering column stalk. For the headlights to be UP and ON means that the switch is closing and sending the signal to both circuits.
The relay to control the headlight doors is the Headlight Control Module located under the passenger headlight.
The only other headlight relays are related to the Twilight Sentinal feature if you have it - everything else is just fuses.
So I would suspect the problem is with your headlight switch somehow shorting and causing the headlights to become active.
Edit: I now see this is a continuation of the your other post on this same issue. Have you checked out the switch??? If not, then that is really the first place to start.
