Event Data Recorder (EDR)?
Does anyone know if the later model C5 came with an event data recorder (EDR)? If you haven't heard of this device, checkout this link. (may have to cut and paste)....

Real old news. Many many threads on this subject. Do a search.
Black boxs have been around a long time in the Vettes.All of the C5 have one.

The black box is actually Silver in the C5. It is located bedhind the center dash area where the stereo and climate control unit is. It is completely integrated with the airbag system and the on board computers.
