Corvette in "Least Reliable' category
This following is from CNNMoney.com:
Most Reliable Sport/Sporty car
Most reliable (Best score first)
Lexus SC
Toyota Camry Solara (4-cyl.)
Subaru Impreza WRX
Honda S2000
Mitsubishi Eclipse*
2006 Mini Cooper hatchback
Least reliable (Worst score first)
Pontiac Solstice*
Mercedes-Benz SL
Mercedes-Benz CLK
Mercedes-Benz SLK (V6)
Chevrolet Corvette
Porshce 911 Carrera
Ford Mustang (V6)
I am new to Corvettes.
For those who have been around awhile, why would Corvette be in the "least reliable" category?

The part where it says sport/sporty cars. There are some decent cars in there to take your daughter to see a play ,but if you don't mind being pressed into the seatback and enjoying some performance then this compilation of vehicles is pretty much You need to think about the performance value any time you state SPORTS CAR vs sporty car. That said hang around for a while and enjoy all the threads and pic's of SPORTS CARS.

As in every survey, you need to take into consideration based on what this list was made.
What are the conditions? What is the sample? where do they get the figures?
I cannot tell you specifically how the Vette ranks, but something must be very wrong in any survey that lists the Mini as more reliable car.
If any, it will be more reliable to make you live in a dealer shop.

I have a 2000 FRC and I can honestly say that this is absolutely the best running and certainly the best performing vehicle I've ever owned !
Consumer Reports isn't much better when evaluating Chevrolet's Corvettes. Makes a person wonder if they're going to be buying junk when they read such reports. And that's exactly what CNN Money, Consumer Reports, etc., does when they bad mouth American vehicles like the Corvette. They're pushing THEIR globalization agenda on those who will buy into it.
Anyhow....you've come to the right place to get opinions on the Corvette. Being here awhile I believe the forum members will tell you like it is. If they've had a lemon or numerous complaints with their 'Vettes they'll tell you. They won't sugar-coat anything.
Screw CNN....I don't pay attention to a damn thing they say or report on !

I believe this thread is just fine where it is at. In fact this subject is applicable in C5 and C6 categories.
